After too many tourists came in flock to the market in this April, Tsukiji suspended to open its visitor’s area for the tourists for a while, but they re-started to open from yesterday with new rule.

New rule is as follows ;

The number of visitors will be limited up to 140 people a day. To see the tuna auction tourists will need to apply for a ticket. Ticket will be distributed beginning at 4:30 a.m..  There will be two groups of 70 people allowed in, the first group from 5:00 a.m.until 5:40 a.m., the next from 5:40 until 6:15.

Yesterday, the 140 ticket was finished at 5:10 a.m., and about 10 tourists were refused entry to the market.
