New international airport terminal will open soon!

Haneda – Tokyo International Airport – was used mainly for domestic airline services for long time. However they will open new terminal for international airline service on October 21, 2011. Unlike Narita – New Tokyo International Airport-, Haneda is located within easy access distance from city center and it takes only 13 minutes from Haneda International Airport Terminal Station to Shinagawa station by Keikyu line or Tokyo Monorail line.

Many people are expecting this new terminal will stimulate Tokyo’s tourism and will attract more visitors to Tokyo after it is connected with 15 cities including N.Y. and Paris by the end of January 2011.  Inside the airport terminal they will open various kinds of commercial facilities such as Edo (Old Tokyo) style restaurants areas, a planetarium plus a Cafe or even a miniature car racing course.

For those who come to our tour directly from Haneda airport, please take Keikyu line from the airport and change at Higashi Ginza station to Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. The nearest station from our meeting place, Kayabacho station is the third stop on the same line. It takes about 30 – 40 min.
