Ready to get the new year started!

In Japan, we have a custom of doing a general year-end cleaning, “Oosouji” of both the inside and outside of their homes to greet the New Year.  We have finished all the tours in 2010 already, so today we cleaned up our office thanking all the guests who joined the tour this year!

When we have done all the things to do, we put the sign of welcome 2011, year of the rabbit. Some of the offices or houses decorate “Kadomatsu”, a pair of pine decorations which are placed in front of the gates of a residence from January 1st to the 7th, the period known as matsunouchi.

We will close our office from Dec. 29, 2010 to Jan. 3, 2011.

May your new year be the happiest and prosperous one for you !!
